The trip started early Thursday morning as the music parapros drove the band equipment and uniforms.
Our day started with the alarm at 2:00 am. We took over Midway and had the plane mostly to ourselves.
The plane fell silent as most slept on the flight but erupted in laughing and clapping as the plane landed in NY.
Our first two stops included Liberty Island and Ellis Island.
We sang Happy Birthday to Mrs. Boso.
We then walked through the financial district to visit the 911 Memorial and Museum.
After the museum, we went to dinner in Chinatown.
After dinner, we checked into our hotel at 930 pm. It was a long but fun day!
