A Cappella Invitational
Join us for our inaugural event! This ICHSA A Cappella Workshop will be an all day event that you won't want to miss. Saturday, December 16th at Hinsdale South High School. Detailed itinerary to come in early November, once fees are paid.

Throughout the day, your competitive a cappella group(s) will be working with professional music clinicians on different aspects of your competitive set (musical accuracy, choreo, performance & mic etiquette, etc.) Concessions will be available for purchase all day and dinner will be provided to registered groups. After all workshops are completed, we will host a mock competition, complete with a live audience, a panel of experienced judges, handheld microphones, and a mock score sheet based on the real sheets given by Varsity Vocals. This will be a great prep for 2024 competitions!

Your $300 registration fee for the workshop (per group) is due to Hinsdale South High School by no later than Friday, November 3. This can be paid here, online or by mail with checks made out to "Hinsdale South High School" Note that online payment will include a convenience/processing fee.
Note: We understand that all groups may not be completely performance ready for this workshop (music memorized, songs learned in full, choreo completed), but please don't let that deter you from participating! All groups at all stages of their ICHSA set prep are welcome to join us!
We hope you and your students will be able to join us for this workshop. Our goal is to create a fun experience that mimics the ICHSA competition, to set expectations for our students, and to have fun meeting their peers in the a cappella community.
